Our science programmes include major subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (M.P.C group) as a pre-engineering programme, and Biology, Physics, and Chemistry (Bi.P.C group) as a pre-medical programme. Students in our Arts and Commerce programs, focusing on Mathematics, Economics, Civics, and Commerce (MEC/CEC groups), often pursue professional courses like ICWA, CA, CS, and Law. The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) is a public examination taken by Intermediate students, conducted at the state level by the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE).

Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya Junior College has been serving the educational needs of Intermediate students in Visakhapatnam for over four decades. Established in 1978 as the Society for Collegiate Education, the institution initially gained recognition as a successful co-educational commerce college. In 1984, the science group sections were introduced and by 1990, we were granted government aid. To support students from financially challenged backgrounds, we maintain an affordable fee structure.

Our dedicated faculty, with vast experience and a commitment to excellence, play a pivotal role in the overall development of our students during their formative years. Beyond academics, our teachers also address emotional and psychological challenges through counselling sessions. The college's reputation is reflected in our substantial student body of nearly 1,000 individuals, supported by a faculty of 25 members across all departments.
